MU Celebrates MLK: "The Dream is Now!", Gala Celebration

Event Description

This semi-formal gala celebration with free refreshments and entertainment will feature the reenactment of Dr. King’s “I Have a Dream” speech performed by Dr. Clyde Ruffin and jazz music by students of the MU School of Music.

Join us as we remember the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., reflect upon the struggles of the Civil Rights Movement, and rejoice in the celebration of the inauguration of President Barack Obama.
