All law students, faculty, and staff are cordially invited to the 150th Barristers’ Ball for the University of Missouri’s School of Law. If you check your mailbox located outside the lockers, you will find a written invitation for this event. 

What is Barrister’s Ball?

It is a formal gathering of members within the law school, very similar to a law school prom.  The term, Barristers’ Ball, is collectively used for law schools throughout the country. The term, Barrister, originally refers to a type of lawyer in the common law. There will also be a celebration of the 150th Class within the first thirty minutes of the Ball with notable, distinguished faculty and staff recognizing the occasion. Dissimilar to prom, you do not need/should not feel obligated to bring a date, but are more than welcome to.

Specific Details:

The event will take place on March 4th, 2023 from 7-10 PM. It is located at the Old Hawthorne Country Club.

Ticket Prices are as followed:

• $45 for Guests, Faculty, and Staff
• $35 for Students
• $10 Off All Parties for Designated Drivers
