This webinar is part of a series of scientific conversations related to the life sciences hosted by the Division of Biological Sciences at the University of Missouri (MU) and the Department of Biodiversity and Conservation Biology at the University of the Western Cape (UWC). 

The series, which includes six webinars (3 from MU, 3 from UWC), covers a diverse range of biological questions at all levels of organization, from molecules to ecosystems, using a wide range of approaches and organisms. It is our hope that this collegial and interdisciplinary scientific exchange will fuel new collaborations that will lead to scientific breakthroughs with impacts on human health, agriculture, and the environment.
