Mizzou Ed Undergraduate Student Council and Global Engagement are proud to partner with Be The Change Volunteers (BTCV) to provide full travel awards for two Phase II or Senior undergraduate student to participate in BTCV’s Gayaza Uganda Project 2017. Travel to Uganda will take place from July 14th through July 23rd – with the option of extending the stay for a week of reciprocal learning and collaborative teaching.
Be the Change Volunteers is a development aid non-profit that builds, refurbishes, equips and provides training to schools and education centers around the world. BTCV operates primarily in developing-world countries serving remote communities with a demonstrated need for educational facilities. BTCV is unique because it not only sends funding to the communities it serves, but a team of volunteers partners with the local community to provide sustainable solutions.
Applications open Wednesday, February 8th and will close on Monday, February 20th. Finalists will be notified by Saturday, February 25th.
