Presented in partnership with MU Libraries, Black Health and Wellness: A Selection of Historical Images includes artworks and photographs from historic collections at the State Historical Society of Missouri. Editorial cartoons by Missouri artists Daniel Fitzpatrick and Tom Engelhardt and photographs by renowned Missouri photojournalist Arthur Witman expose the difficulties and achievements African Americans experienced related to healthcare and wellness throughout the 20th century.

The exhibit is on display in the second-floor colonnade cases at Ellis Library from February 7 to May 23, 2022.
