University of Missouri Extension will be hosting the Certified Crop Advisors (CCA) Meeting the Monday and Tuesday before Thanksgiving -- Nov. 25 and 26 -- at the Fisher Delta Research Center in Portageville, Mo. There will be 4 hours of continuing education units (CEUs) applied for in each of the categories of Pest Management (IPM), Crop Production, Nutrients, and Soil and Water, for a total of 16 CEUs.
The Monday morning session will be IPM. Crops will be covered Monday afternoon. The Tuesday morning session will be nutrient management. The Tuesday afternoon session will cover soil and water management.
The fee is $50 per session or $180 for all four sessions. The CCA meeting is information that would be beneficial to producers as well as crop advisors. You do not have to be a certified crop advisor to attend but the fee applies to all who wish to attend.
