Dr. James Theuri retired Educator & Research Scientist University of Illinois Champaign- Urbana Extension. His presentation title: "Simple Strategies to Mitigate Climate Change in Africa"
 
Denise Brown, Fulbright Faculty PhD student in the Truman School of Public Affairs. The title of her presentation: "Haitian Immigration in the Caribbean Community"
 
You are cordially invited to attend a presentation and discussion event. For the 9th year in a row, we are continuing with the theme of FOCUS ON AFRICA. The purpose of the discussion is to encourage scholars with international interests to meet each other, stimulate each other’s thinking, and potentially lead to the creation of a broader research network and joint scholarship. Topics across the year are chosen to highlight the intersection among multiple disciplinary perspectives with a common geographical focus.
