Global Crossings: International Students Navigating U.S. Classrooms, Part 2

The U.S. classroom environment generally encourages students to participate, collaborate, present, and express opinions respectfully. This is different from the majority of classrooms in some parts of the world. What is considered collaborative in the U.S. is sometimes considered rude and disruptive in classrooms back home. In this session, we’ll discuss navigating US academic life for international students and some ways of overcoming these challenges.
