Heart of Missouri RPDC: Differentiated Instruction

This training addresses the need for knowing the readiness, interests, and learning styles of students in our classrooms, developing an environment which allows for differences, and helping students “make sense” of instruction within the classroom. Participants will use tools to diagnose learning profiles, explore strategies for addressing student differences through various instructional strategies, and participate in hands-on activities. 

This training will address the following Missouri Teacher Standards:

Standard #2: Student Learning, Growth and Development, Quality Indicator 4: Differentiated lesson design

Standard #3: Curriculum Implementation, Quality Indicator 2: Lessons for diverse learners
