This workshop will provide educators an opportunity to learn and plan activities revolving around the latest educational trends geared toward promoting engaging and authentic learning for all learners, Pre-K-12. Topics such as Makerspace, Genius Hour, Problem-Based Learning, Personal Learning Contracts, Flipped and Blended Learning Model, as well as Game-Based Learning will be discussed. Resources will be shared to help attendees begin to explore these learning models and real-world applications and examples will be shared to enable attendees to investigate further and begin creating engaging and authentic learning experiences for all students.
