Interested in a career at Honeywell? Join us Monday, September 17, at 4 p.m. in W0015 Lafferre Hall to learn more about the Kansas City National Security Campus (KCNSC). Every day, more than 4,500 men and women come to work at the KCNSC in support of national security. Honeywell manages the KCNSC in Kansas City, MO and Albuquerque, NM, for the U.S. Department of Energy's National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA).

As a trusted partner of the NNSA since 1949, Honeywell has earned a valued reputation for innovation and cost-effective solutions by applying commercial best standards in managing operations. The KCNSC is a LEED Gold, multi-mission facility using the latest technologies and innovations in engineering, manufacturing and sourcing to fulfill our core mission: ensure the safety, security and reliability of our nation’s nuclear deterrent.

KCNSC is one of eight sites that comprise the NNSA. Our primary focus is manufacturing 85 percent of non-nuclear components that go into the nuclear stockpile. We develop advanced solutions for complex national security issues, from prototype simulations to production to quality testing. Along with safeguarding the country’s nuclear weapons, the Honeywell team is charged with leading other missions for the Department of Energy:

-Global Security: Providing field-ready solutions for other government agencies and businesses for the intelligence and defense communities

-Supply Chain Management Center: Developing innovative strategic sourcing processes to leverage Department of Energy annual spend to save millions each year. For more news and information on KCNSC, please visit https://kcnsc.doe.gov/
