IRE-Mizzou Watchdog seminar: "Fighting for open records"

We all have a right to public records under federal and state laws, but government officials often will try to block access. In this session, journalist, transparency advocate and all around records nerd Kelsey Ryan will show how to get access to the documents you need and find stories that are relevant to your audience. You'll come away with tips on how to apply these investigative skills to class, Mizzou newsroom and professional reporting assignments.
