Kinder Institute Distinguished Visiting Research Fellow Alan Gibson and Prof. Michael Zuckert (Emeritus, Notre Dame) will give a pair of presentations on the political thought and career of James Madison, focusing specifically on his conception of an impartial republic and his unique interpretation of the Constitution’s necessary and proper clause. Free and open to the public, the event will take place on January 24 at 3:30pm in Jesse Hall 410.
