The MU Clay Klub is pleased to host Kevin Snipes, a ceramic artist based in Philadelphia for a two-day workshop. Snipes will demonstrate his hand-building as well as surface decoration techniques on October 27 (10:30am–5pm) and October 28 (1-5pm) in the Ceramics Studio (Room 113, Fine Arts Building). He will also give an artist lecture on Oct 27 at 6pm (101 Swallow Hall) followed by a juror’s talk during the opening reception of “The Clay Cup V: Vessel, Icon, Canvas” exhibition on Oct 27 at 7pm in the Bingham Gallery. This biennial juried exhibition will be on view from Oct 25- Dec 2. All events are free and open to the public and brought to you in part by Student Activity Fees.
