Join Michelle Wimes, J.D., the Senior Vice President and Chief Equity and Inclusion Officer of Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City for a discussion regarding diversity and the legal profession.   Michelle, a leading expert in diversity and inclusion, previously served as the Chief Diversity and Professional Development Officer for Ogletree Deakins, one of the nation's largest labor and employment law firms; the Director of Strategic Initiatives for Shook, Hardy & Bacon; a Partner at Spencer Fane; and as an Associate Attorney at both Husch Blackwell and Shook, Hardy & Bacon. 

While Michelle will be presenting remotely via zoom, we will be hosting students in the Courtroom for the event (you can also attend remotely if you wish).  Cultural Competence/Bias credit and pizza will be provided to those who RSVP on SAGE.
