Abstract: The frames for a finite-dimensional Hilbert space are precisely its finite spanning sets. Arising first in the context of signal processing, frames have become fundamental tools in a vast range of applied and pure areas of research. We introduce the basic concepts from frame theory and convex geometry and demonstrate a useful connection between the two fields.
