Join us for “Thoughts on Disclosure Regulation and Artificial Intelligence” a keynote presentation by Dr. Edward Li, Trulaske College of Business – School of Accountancy, MizzouForward faculty candidate. Dr. Li will present on his research for approximately 40-minutes with a 20-minute question and answer session to follow.
Edward Li is an associate professor of accounting and the Ph.D. program area coordinator at the Zicklin School of Business, City University of New York (CUNY). He is also an adjunct associate professor at Columbia Business School. He holds a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. from Tsinghua University, the University of Illinois, and Michigan State University, respectively, as well as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Professional Accountant in Canada (CPA Canada) credentials. He has served in various roles for the American Accounting Association (AAA), including chairing the 2024 FARS lifetime achievement and Ph.D. mentoring award committee.
Dr. Li’s research examines securities regulation and enforcement, equity analysts, and corporate disclosures. His work has been published in The Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting Research, Journal of Accounting & Economics, and Management Science and has been featured by Harvard Law School Forum and NYU Law School Forum. Recently, he is working on how Large Language Models (LLMs) process corporate disclosures. He has presented his research at the CFA Society of New York, CFA Society of Hong Kong, and Wolfe Research.
