To provide high school students with a hands-on introduction to neuroscience and neural engineering, an area that is growing rapidly in academia and industry. Several universities are starting majors in neuroscience that require interdisciplinary knowledge in biology, psychology, and engineering. Similarly companies such as Neuralink and Medtronic are employing more and more college graduates with interdisciplinary expertise in neuroscience.
