The Organization Resource Group will hold Administrative and Finance Training at the College of Engineering on Wednesday, Sept. 11 in Ketcham Auditorium, W1005 Lafferre Hall. This is an opportunity for engineering student organizations to meet the annual requirements for Recognized Student Organizations.
To satisfy these requirements for the 2019-2020 academic year, the president or vice-president of an organization must attend Administrative Training in order for the organization to maintain its recognized status on campus. In this training, organization officers will learn about resources available to Recognized Student Organizations and policies they must abide by. If your organization plans to submit an ORG budget request, your treasurer must also attend the Finance Training prior to submitting a budget request. Training will start on time with doors closing five minutes after the training starts.
6 p.m. – Administrative Training
7 p.m. – Finance Training
*To receive credit for attending the training, be sure to complete the post-event form that will be emailed to you after swiping your student ID card at the end of the training.
