The Saul S. and Gladys Davidson Weinberg Lecture, “Containing Cultures in the Aegean Bronze Age," features Dr. Carl Knappett, Professor, Walter Graham/Homer Thompson Chair in Aegean Prehistory, Department of Art History, University of Toronto.
Funded by the estate of Elizabeth “Betty” Courtney Banks in 2021 and organized by the Department of Classics, Archaeology, and Religion together with the Museum of Art and Archaeology, the Weinberg Lecture honors the legacy of two of the University of Missouri’s premier archaeologists with an annual lecture presented by a leading scholar in the fields of Aegean Art and Archaeology, Greek Architecture, or Ancient Glass.
