Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) is observed annually throughout the month of April in both the United States and in the MU community. The programs and activities scheduled during the month are intended to educate and raise awareness about sexual violence, what it is and how we can prevent it. Activities include Denim Dayexternal link, SAAM National Day of Action, Green Dot Mizzou and Stars Speaks Series: Sexual Assault in the LGBTQ Community.
