If you are a member of a student organization, you know the challenges of keeping everything organized and keeping everyone informed and prepared to accept responsibilities when current leadership graduates and moves on. How do you transfer the knowledge? How do you share the workload? How do you ensure that your favorite organization thrives as different students assume larger roles? Join us for SUCCESSION PLANNING for Student Organizations on Thursday, Nov. 8, from 4 to 6 p.m. in Ketcham Auditorium in Lafferre Hall. Greg Tucker, director of the MU Extension Business Development Program, will share his expertise from years as an entrepreneur and organization manager. Academy members receive 10 points for attending, but the session is open to all students in the College.
