About this Event
Take Back the Night is an opportunity for students and the community to come together in solidarity against sexual assault and relationship violence. Our Take Back the Night event includes a march, a candle light vigil, and a speak out. The march across campus acts as both a symbolic and literal taking back of our campus and an intolerance to violence. The vigil is an act of honoring and remembering survivors and victims of power-based violence. Finally the speak out is where anyone can share their personal narratives and experiences involving power based personal violence, and offer words of support to survivors, victims, and their supporters.
