Sam Cohen is Associate Professor of English and Associate Chair of the English Department at the University of Missouri, Columbia. He studies twentieth and twenty-first century American literature, is the author of After the End of History: American Fiction in the 1990s (Iowa, 2009), and is the series editor for The New American Canon: The Iowa Series in Contemporary Literature and Culture.
