Professor Jea Won Kim is the author of “A Forgotten Name, A Forgotten History: The life and times of Herbert Kim Kun Hoo.” Dr. Kim earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from Ewha Womans University, South Korea, and her Ph.D. at the Ludwig-Maximillian University of Munich, Germany. She did her post-doctoral work at Ewha, where she also taught. Prior to joining Incheon Catholic University as full tenure-track faculty, she had taught as a lecturer at Kookmin University, Sungkyunkwan University, Korea National University of Arts and others. She served as the dean of the College of Art and Design at Incheon Catholic University. She has also served as the President of the Society of Contemporary Art History.
