The MU Percussion Society is excited to present guest Ghanaian musician and dancer Nani Agbeli in a free performance with the Mizzou World Percussion Ensemble at 7 p.m. Friday, April 14, in the Missouri Theatre. Nani is known for his energy, athleticism and precision on stage and is one of the leading Ghanaian dancers of his generation.

The performance will also feature Mizzou’s Tiger Pans, Chiyedza Mbira Ensemble and Lee Elementary’s World Drumming Ensembles. Additionally, a free public masterclass will be offered at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 13, in Loeb Hall 201 at the University of Missouri.

Nani's visit is brought to you in part by Student Activity Fees; the Division of Inclusion, Diversity and Equity; Black Studies Department; and School of Music. Admission is free to the public.
