Trauma is the leading cause of death for Americans under the age of 45 according to the CDC.  Through the Until Help Arrives training, attendees are educated on simple steps that can be taken in response to life-threatening injuries to prevent that person from dying. This is a short 2-hour interactive course that is designed to educate and empower attendees to act in emergencies and provide life-saving care until first responders arrive.  The course provides instruction on how to make safe care decisions, stop the bleeding, position the injured, and provide general comfort.

Registration is required as space is limited. The training is free and open to the public. Directions and parking information will be sent out following confirmed registration. Register today at Mizzou.us/YouAreTheHelp
