Another great in-service. i had more information than what I needed but I can file it away for future classes. I came in after and attended the open session on Thursday from 1-3 to get my specific questions answered. Gary was fantastic as always.

The review was very basic, but was really helpful for me. It gave me insight into how to set-up a course in Canvas and the instructor gave us a brief overview on how to add and publish assignments, how to access and use the gradebook, and how to navigate the course homepage. The only suggestion would be is to begin on time with everything (i.e., computer and monitor) setup prior to start time. Otherwise, it was very helpful for me.
Instructor was knowledgeable and covered many features of Canvas within the hour. Would be beneficial to do faculty/course intros upfront to hear how other people are doing online courses, and to guide the overview of Canvas.

I met with the learning technologies specialist (Marla Germann) and she was very kind and she helped me alot to understand the important features for the backboard grading system. and gave me good advices about using the available tools.
It was an absolute disappointment! I had queries about BB certain features! Though I was helped on one feature there was none available for certain other features! I mean, if its an open help hour for people to walking, I will expect experts to be there! Though my friends had given a real good review S how they had been helped, I guess I had to experience the unexpected!!
