Each year, Mizzou’s Black Law Students Association (“MU BLSA”) hosts a banquet to honor the life and legacy of Lloyd L. Gaines and to celebrate the achievements of Black and Minority students in their pursuit of a legal education. The banquet awards scholarships to deserving students who have demonstrated academic achievement, leadership, and a dedicated interest in the legal field.
