The Anxiety Workshop is a class focused on teaching students how to reduce and manage their anxiety. Anxiety and stress are similar but anxiety is usually more persistent and lasts longer. This class will explore the nature of anxiety and give you tools to reduce, and overtime, even eliminate the anxiety in your life. Topics will include mindfulness, cognitive tools, and breathing exercises aimed at targeting specific anxieties in student’s lives. This workshop is offered by Jason Edwards, MU Counseling Center.
