You are formally invited to the 37^th Annual Lloyd L. Gaines Scholarship Banquet hosted by the University of Missouri Black Law Students Association (“MU BLSA”). The banquet will be held at the Mizzou Football Stadium (Faurot Field) in the renowned Columns Club on the 2^nd floor. An email regarding parking will be sent out soon. Your presence is requested from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on February 18^th, 2023. Cocktail hour will begin promptly at 5:00pm and conclude at 6:00pm. The banquet will immediately follow. We are thrilled to announce our keynote speaker and the first Black Boone County Judge, newly elected Judge Kayla Jackson-Williams of Missouri’s 13^th Judicial Circuit.   

Ticket purchases and donations can be made at: https://my.bidpal.net/blsabanquet2023. Student tickets cost $25.00, and non-student tickets cost $50.00. Your ticket will cover the cost of entrance, meal (buffet), and open bar!  

Food items will include:

• Rosemary Roasted Chicken Breast w/ Garlic Mashed Potatoes & Seasonal Vegetables 
• Braised Short Ribs w/ Garlic Mashed Potatoes & Seasonal Vegetables 
• Baby Spinach & Mushroom Quesadillas served w/ Pico De Gallo (Vegetarian)  

• Brownie Sundae Bar 

Attendees will also be able to enter a raffle for their chance to win exciting prizes! You may purchase raffle tickets ahead of time on the banquet website, or you may purchase them in person at the banquet event.
