Apply allowable cost principles in creating a budget per the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance) and/or sponsor guidelines. Utilizing case studies, explore examples of unlike circumstances, questions to ask and items of unallowable costs commonly included in a budget.

This class is part of the pre-award track of the Certificate Series for Specialized Grants Training offered by MU's Sponsored Programs Administration for University of Missouri System staff. Classes in the series cover key topics using a combination of teaching methods, including lectures, case studies and hands-on computer training.
