This free virtual event hosted by the UM System will highlight social entrepreneurship. Maxine Clark will discuss founding Build-A-Bear Workshop, a teddy-bear themed retail-entertainment experience, and how she uses her entrepreneurial skills to do business for social causes. Organized by the Griggs Innovators Nexus, MU Student Center.

This event also marks the launch of 4impact, a new social entrepreneurship program developed by students from MU’s chapter of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization. The program is open to students from any of the UM System universities and includes workshops, coaching and a pitch event with $5,000 in seed money from the employees of Veterans United.
