Masters Presentation: Using dual quaternions in robotics
Wednesday, May 4, 2022 1pm to 2pm
About this Event
Abstract: The use of dual quaternions is well established, especially in the graphic card industry. In robotics however, it is more common to represent a pose using a quaternion for the rotation and a three dimensional vector for the translation. This presentation will advocate for the use of dual quaternions to represent poses and twists.
