Join us for “Bio-inspired Materials for Tissue Regeneration" a keynote presentation by Dr. Xiaohua Liu, College of Engineering, MizzouForward faculty candidate. Dr. Liu will present on his research for approximately 40-minutes with a 20-minute question and answer session to follow.
Dr. Xiaohua Liu is a Professor in the Biomedical Science Department of Texas A&M University College of Dentistry. He completed his BS and PhD from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, and his postdoctoral training at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Dr. Liu’s research has been well recognized in the field of biomaterials for dental and craniofacial application. His research currently focuses on 1) the development of bio-inspired materials for regenerative endodontics; 2) the development of biomimetic approaches for bone repair and regeneration; and 3) the development of new tools to control stem cell-biomaterial interactions and understand the mechanism.
