Currently, prospects, standards, and quality of life led by populations are intimately linked with the practical effectiveness of the Educational systems and corresponding Youth empowerment policies in  South Sudan, the current poor status of education and specifically not leading to youth empowerment cannot be isolated from a long history of political vulnerability and exclusion, experienced by the people of South Sudan and consequentially freezing in time the potentials that her Youths have to develop this once mighty ancient Sudanic Nation.

This talk will thus focus on possible solutions of how this can be achieved with a focus on a recent youth empowerment peace project that focuses on peace-centered rebuilding programs done to empower youth refugees community leaders in Kenya with peace-building skills to be the agents of peace within their communities, and how this can be scaled up into a national program lead by the youths for the communities.
