Enroll in PEA_ST 3022 and explore how the history of race, class, gender relations, colonialism and imperialism have shaped the prospects for peace in Caribbean communities. Visit Jamaica’s beautiful beaches as well as unique sites like the Bob Marley Museum and the offices of the prime minister and political ombudsman. Analyze the effects of religion, education, and popular music on Caribbean communities and peacebuilding.
