Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and The Food Bank needs your help to make sure everyone’s table is full of food for the holiday. On November 24, 2020 we will be hosting our annual Partnership Against Hunger food drive.
We are reaching out to our dedicated volunteers asking you to support us at various locations as we collect and sort food. Volunteers will be asked stand at store entrances and solicit food and monetary donations, rain or shine.
All volunteers must be 18 years or older, not in a CDC at-risk group, and be able to work outside. Additionally, we ask that volunteers follow all safety instructions, including wearing masks and gloves for their entire shift, maintain social distance, and follow basic food safety requirements. The Food Bank will supply masks, gloves, hand sanitizer and water to all volunteers. If you have a mask please bring yours.
This year we will need volunteers to support us for the following shifts:
6 – 8 a.m.; 8 – 10 a.m.; 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.; 12 – 2 p.m.; 2 -4 p.m.; 4 – 6:30 p.m.
