This presentation will provide participants with greater insights into doctoral candidate Stephanie Hernandez Rivera's research agenda and the experiences that brought her to that agenda. Through her work she seeks to serve, affirm, and advocate for the experiences of those with multiple marginalized identities, particularly Women of Color. Thus, this presentation emphasizes how Women of Color are marganlized in institutions of higher learning and even campus equity efforts, and how thier continued persistence in these hostile conditions comes as a cost.
